Penny wanted to spend one last summer at the beach with her family. When Penny decided to move from the family home to hospice, her family approached the Living Wish Foundation to make this special day at the beach happen for her. Our community came together to honor that wish.
The Town of Wasaga Beach cleared the way for us to park at the Beach 2 access mat and made sure we had a special beach wheelchair so that Penny was able to dip her feet in Georgian Bay one last time.
