Covid delayed Weddings are Back ON. Rick had been engaged since 2020, when the pandemic hit.
Not only did the pandemic hit, but Rick’s health also took a hit too, when he was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer. He is described as a person with a very strong inner locus, stating he has accepted his diagnosis and been able to remain hopeful yet realistic all at the same time.
Rick's wish was to finally marry his fiancé. Marriage to Rick was formalizing his ability to care for his wife when he was no longer physically able to do so.
We are elated to share that, this October, a quiet ceremony solidified Ricks wish.
