Dr. Michael Lisi
Dr. Lisi is currently the Chief of Staff at CGMH. He completed his General Surgery training at McMaster University and further pursued leadership training at Harvard University. He is both Canadian and American Board Certified and is a Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada and a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons.
He has served the Georgian Bay community as a General Surgeon at the Collingwood General and Marine Hospital (CGMH) since 2008. Dr. Lisi is an Assistant Clinical Professor with the Department of Surgery at McMaster University, Queens University, and the University of Toronto (adjunct). He is also the past president of the CGMH Medical Staff Association.
Dr. Lisi is the surgeon lead at CGMH for the National Surgical Quality Improvement Program and has served as the Medical Director for Collingwood Surgery and Georgian Bay Endoscopy. He sits on the North Simcoe Muskoka Regional Oncology Steering Committee and the Regional Breast Cancer Oncology Steering Committee.
