Director 

Karen Ladner Haas brings considerable experience in non-profit organizations, health care, and the corporate world including 19 years in childhood cancer advocacy, public speaking, research ethics, patient advocacy, and family engagement in research.  She is a member of the Family Advisory Network at SickKids Hospital and serves on various committees and councils, which include the Family Centered Care Advisory Council, Diagnostic Imaging Family Advisory Committee, and the Research Family Advisory Committee (current Family Co-chair).

Karen is passionate about making a positive impact on society through meaningful and thoughtful contributions and looking forward to  helping us enhance the quality of life for those facing a terminal diagnosis. Her education, lived experience, and skills will be invaluable to our team.
