    Linda MacLeod

    Director

Linda MacLeod has a background of clinical nursing in mental health, critical care and stepdown units in several provinces. Her work in hospital administration has been primarily in Ottawa and Collingwood, but also Cape Breton and Owen Sound.

Her interest in palliative care began when she was a critical care nurse, and since then she has been involved in hospital committees aimed at improving palliative care resources in hospital and our community. For 8 years she was active on the Board of Hospice Georgian Triangle as it grew from a 2 person plus volunteers organization to a remarkable community serving hospice which incorporates 10 residential beds and many community based programs for those affected by a life-limiting diagnosis.

Linda is excited to be able to rejoin the Board. The work done by Living Wish gives people the tangible gift of living their best life possible in the time they may not have expected to be able to do it. She wants to be actively involved with palliative patients and to offer what she can to our patients and this amazing organization.
